Young Changemakers Social Enterprise (YCSE) Academy was established by @america, the U.S. Embassy’s American Center located in Jakarta, Indonesia in collaboration with Campaign.com to develop the capacity of YSEALI members in Indonesia to become social entrepreneurs.
YCSE Academy 1.0 was launched in January 2019 with over 100 social enterprises applicants from all over Indonesia. All applicants participated in over 17 events and this event generated more than 1.5 million impressions on social media and 105 media mentions.
YCSE Academy 2.0: Female Socio-techpreneur Edition
successfully reached broader audience. During the open submission period, YCSE Academy 2.0 received 216 applications from 22 provinces in Indonesia. Starting in August 2019 with a survey to kick off the program, until Bootcamp session in March 2020, YCSE Academy 2.0 held 8 events with over 700 participants and generated over 6 million impressions online and 330 media mentions.
